Modern Builds has become a leading channel showcasing practical, highly approachable DIY projects made mostly with a modest set of power tools and construction grade lumber. He uses a variety of techniques and materials including woodworking metalworking and concrete working. 

Some of Mike’s most popular videos are his remodeling videos, including a series where he transformed an old school bus into a tiny house.

Mike is also a co-host of the long-running Modern Makers Podcast, along with Ben Uyeda and Chris Salomone...a couple of previous guests on The Woodworking Talk Show.
